Welcome to the Hundred Dollar Party website
The goal of the Hundred Dollar Party is to create a party (or parties) that will represent the interests of average people. The only way to do that is for average people to come together and make it happen. Most people don't want to invest large amounts of time, energy and money into politics, much less the greater amounts of each commonly believed necessary to create a viable third party. Election reform must be something people are willing to do. I believe most people will be willing to make a minimal effort. All I ask is you take a few minutes to read and consider the following proposals consisting of three simple tools that citizens can use to create viable third party competition. They can be used to support not only the Hundred Dollar Party, other third parties and independent candidates, but also to influence the media and even the current major parties ( if for some reason you still believe the current major parties are worth supporting ). Citizens can use these tools to work with other people on issues they agree on without having to agree on everything. They don't have to join a group or party, need only to invest a small amount of time working individually and make a yearly political contribution of 100 dollars or less. An investment of 100 dollars a year to get government that represents your interests will cost less in the long run than allowing the current government that represents the interests of large contributors to continue unchallenged. |
